If I was Kendrick and going for a million first week I'd do this:

• February 8, 2015 - Announce Album Title at the Grammys. (Hopefully win as well)
  
• February 11, 2015 - Appear on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Perform i. Lights cut off. Taylor Swift comes on stage as spotlights follow her and Kendrick as they begin to perform a Backseat Freestyle/Shake It Off mashup.
• February 13, 2015 - Announce Dr. Dre as exec. prod on social media.
  
• February 16, 2015 - New commercial with Dre and Kendrick for reebok announcing new kendrick shoe. Snippet in background.
• February 17, 2015 - Debut first single out of nowhere (must be b-----r, write off i as promo single)
  
• February 18, 2015 - Announce the New West tour with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Game, and Jay Rock.
  
• February 19, 2015 - Release first single to radio. Announce release date as March 2, 2015
• February 20, 2015 - Announce "Good Kid" line of Beats By Dre
• February 23, 2015 - Release Multiply CDQ on iTunes as promo single
• February 24, 2015 - Have a feature on another rappers single drop
• February 26, 2015 - Reveal name of second single. Announce that physical copies of the album will have 10% off coupons for both New Kendrick shoe and Good Kid beats. 100,000 copies will have download code for a promo track. 150 lucky copies will have black tickets, which entitle you to a choice of new shoes or beats. 3 lucky copies have red ticket, which gets you a meet & greet with Kendrick.
• February 28, 2015 - Appear on a rap radio show (Hot 97 or Sway or DJ Skee) with Dre and Top Dawg. Freestyle and debut second single.
• March 1, 2015 - Release second single to radio. Debut tracklist.
• March 2, 2015 - Release album
• March 3, 2015 - Release T. Swift mashup on iTunes.
• March 4, 2015 - Take all music off Spotify.
• March 7, 2015 - Go Platinum

Dude is gonna sell 1m easy. This isn't the new kid that Dr. Dre signed that may or may not have a good debut.

If youre talking about first week, people dont sell a mil anymore, not to mention hip hop. Remember when it was a huge deal that Cole debuted 350 for FHD? Kendrick will do around 450

I'm going to laugh myself to sleep when he sells ONE MILLION FIRST WEEK.

Obviously there is going to be massive f---ing hype to propel those numbers. A sexy a--- single, a crazy collab, the dudes image, could be anything. Combine that with the social injustice outrage and just the right song..You don't just pull s--- out of a hat ffs.

Seriously.. Kendrick is the first black rapper that I have heard all the gayass white kids that listen to Five Finger Death Punch and other s-----y rock, think he's good.

His anti "guns, money, hoes" rap persona f---ing sells guys. He has a much bigger fan base than you seem realize.

Lots of people don't listen to rap believe it or not, yet they listen to Kendrick..
