    For the first time since 2011, the US is launching a manned shuttle into space (to the ISS). Also the first time we'll be launching a man via a private company (SpaceX). Launch was scheduled for wednesday, but postponed due to weather. Current launch date is today @ 3:22p EST

    I think he is doing certain things that are cool/good for the world of course, but the way he treats his workers bothers me. Blocking unions and throwing a hissy fit about CA being closed for the virus and wanting to send his employees back in unsafe conditions. Also he seems to be an “all progress is good progress” guy which I disagree with.

    Like you mentioned his ego is massive and I take him as someone who’s intelligent about one thing so he thinks he’s a genius about everything. People think he’s some scrappy super genius when his dad owned half of a emerald mine lol, he grew up very well off. He’s a lame and an unfunny tryhard who clearly just wants to be in the media spotlight. He said his company was making ventilators to send to California but all that got sent were CPAP machines made by another company that he slapped is logo on. He said he was gonna help out with that Thai cave incident and then didn’t do anything and called the dude who actually helped a pedophile. He’s got big Neil DeGrasse Tyson energy. The list of his lame activities is endless.

    I understand why some people look up to certain aspects of his careers and I’m not knocking you for that but I’m not with it personally.

    I think space travel is insanely cool and worth spending money on I just wish we didn’t have to include this loser in it

    1hr 40m til launch. Current status: no-go due to rain. Will be re-evalutating as the countdown progresses
