    One of the best rap albums of all time

    MF DOOM’s esoteric style was a match made in heaven for Madlib’s off-kilter production. There’s a lot of overzealous hype for anything listed as a “classic”, this one included, yet I feel it has plenty of personality to keep you engaged. If DOOM isn’t for you, you’ll still find appreciation for some of Madlib’s best work ever which is found on Madvillainy.

    Yeah, I’d say it holds up. Madlib’s production is timeless and Doom was at his peak during the mid 2000’s. Most of the songs are short af so it’s an easy listen and not much of a commitment if you don’t like it
