Apr 22, 2020 This is vastly underselling French, and I don't think that charting is a good indicator of how popular a song is in the real world. Pop That and Stay Schemin' were two of the hottest songs of that year, more so than any Kendrick song has ever been outside of Humble. I could see an argument for Kendrick being a better rapper or making better albums, but in terms of hit-making ability it's really no contest.
