If I didn't have asthma I'd be back to shotting too fam... I could still get something I'd bet, It's just the risk as well driving around all day doing drops. Apr 19, 2020 Is your Company not "topping up" to 80% if it would be more than the £2500p/m limit from the government? That's what has happened to me. I've been furloughed but my Company are still paying over the £2500 to make sure I get an exact 80% of my salary. I'm happy about this considering daily expenses have reduced by over half as we're not able to go out and socialise so overall I'm in no different place than where I was before except I'm slowing going f---ing insane stuck at home and not being able to see friends ,family or go to work.
Apr 19, 2020 About 1 month back right before all this lockdown s--- was happening my gaffer still wanted everyone to come work, but because of my underlying health issus (I got bad asthma) I told him that I didn't feel safe enough to come in, so I asked if he would let me use a few days holiday and then assess the situation. He went off on me saying that it was safe to work amongst other bs... Basically he wouldn't allow me the days holiday and time off due to the virus. I think he thought the virus was just a bad flu like a lot of people did, so I had no other choice to either go in and risk my health or tell him to f--- off... I chose the latter. Was a bad move looking back at it because I probably could have got the 80% rn but then i might have also got the rona lol. That was about a month ago, so i got my week in hand and 5 days holiday off him and that's it. Had to put a claim in for UC until everything is bk to normal. They give you money for rent but the living allowance isnt very good tbh lmao... Apparently they even increased it by 100 pounds as well. What work were you in?
