We went back to our roots. Others changed their names back to their old ones (or a different version) as well.

And well, in my case... this is the OG name used in the first movie can't go back more than this!

Came here to say that Curtis was the best post GRODT album. GRODT was so raw and Massacre was good but it didn't have the same feeling. Tried to make too many poppy hits. Curtis was f---ing excellent

Every mixtape he made was dope. Albums he had a lot of highs and lows. I always looked forward to his mixtapes more cause he wasn't trying to make a hit. Having to give up hooks and verses to Game kind of f----- him on Massacre as well. Had to settle for Hate it or Love it remix. Could of had the original, This is How We Do, West Side Story hook

Welp, of course mixtape 50 >>>>> album 50, but his albums were nice, really nice albums. Every album had some bad moments (not GRODT obviously)

Guess Who's Back and 50 Cent Is The Future (okay, it's G-Unit, but still), man... Classics.

    And Game is done.

The story's true, many fans have spoken about it way before loc dropped the story. I think 50 downplays alot of the street s--- he was involved in so that he can advance his business career/allow people to feel more comfortable around him.

makes sense...probably another reason why he hasn’t dropped music in years...just features...he can’t be on the hood/street music if he wants awards for films/television...and be in business with white collar

He should of turned the sound track to GRODT his second album. And had the massacre his third album.

massacre is a classic for sure. But the thing is, you can’t listen to his GRODT then go to that album. The production is to different.

I like Massacre but it is pop industry influenced.

Interscope definitely influenced more so than get rich or die tryin.

I would like to see the leftover tracks from the massacre. You know when they pick tracks they have to appeal to the larger audience...especially under a big label...dr.dre and Eminem can do what they do but they still have to answer to the demand of pop love songs etc...

50 gave away too many album worthy tracks via free mixtapes, he f----- up by doing that. His album discog could be much better...

Could have used this for T.O.S or BISD

This beat was sent to 50 from premier but 50 decided to not use it for BISD

So many more examples could be posted

Great album. 50 really is the goat human being. If I could listen to only 5 rappers for the rest of my life he’d be one of them.

I remember "The Massacre" being sh---ed on by every real hip-hop head, 50 Cent has done better work before and since (excluding Curtis), to me GRODT has that combination of radio friendly sound and aggressive edge. Barring a few good songs, The Massacre is bloated and unfocused in my opinion.
