Also not a bad lyricist by any means, if you can’t hear the pain in his voice/lyrics ur more of a sociopath than he isBuddha, Ricky, Ordinary Joel and 4 others like this. -

Nah snoop can say what he pleases. And while I wasn’t into the gospel record lol the one before it was good. He’s overexposed as a pop culture figure but tbh underrated as an artist.
And guys, he’s not critiquing the innovation, he’s eyerolling at it becoming a trend/crutch. Wholly valid tbh...especially coming from one of the most original artists in rap history. Get a grip!Ordinary Joel, Buddha, Michael Myers and 1 other person like this. -

So is 50, they’re still both washed as musical acts. I’m just saying they have no place to be (poorly) critiquing rappers who’ve been wildly more innovative than they have been the past 10-15 years.Buddha, Ricky, Ordinary Joel and 1 other person like this. -

Which makes an interesting question; who made a bigger impact? Snoop/50 back then or Future currently? Its not fair to compare 2018 snoop to future and thug imoBuddha, Tyler F u c k i n g Waves and Ricky like this. -

i agree they're not nearly as exciting but both have released dope music recently, Neva Left was a good album and 50 can still make good songs [9 Shots] but yeah neither are putting out game changing projectsRicky, Michael Myers and Ordinary Joel like this.Dec 18, 2025(This ad goes away when signing up) -
