you can easily tell the children from the adults in this thread

you guys will grow up one day and realize the type of music you pump while getting high means nothing in term of historian value

No other rapper has fans who will say they are the best rapper while simultaneously not listening to a single other hip hop artist

Eminems career contribution of quality music doesn't stack up to other artists. He has more bad/mediocre music than good/great music...

He's overrated...for every person that underrates him there are hundreds or thousands of people who are naive/racist and think he's the best/only good rapper

    This is not debateable

Might be, but this is still speculation. The fact that Eminem has the same international reach that started since his heyday (99-04) is beyond impressive, his popularity is still unmatched no matter how many units someone like Drake has pushed this decade...Its shocking to me people still listen to Em, I was never a fan even when he was the biggest

I was like 7-8 when all his goofy music videos were played non-stop here so it's crazy knowing he had an inescapable reach outside of the small crazy world the Bronx,NY was for me so seeing what you and @Michael Myers posted is f---ing cool to know. Like I've said,
I never was a fan to begin with (heavy NY bias even as a kid lol) but he was brilliant.

You mean the rapper who hasn't released a great album in 15 years and makes music with Ed Sheeran?

    Definitely underrated

You can debate whether he’s the greatest rapper of all time, but there’s no debate that he’s the biggest. It’s not hard to compare numbers.

The guy just put out arguably his worst album but still sold out over 500,000 tickets to a European tour in hours..

..and he performed in front of 125,000 danish fans the other day, breaking attendance records. No other rapper can do that, especially 20 years into his career

I don't really understand where you coming from w/ this 'we wouldn't know' stuff....we know how big Eminem is right now, and it dwarfs other top selling rap artists multiple times over in sales and global reach...

If someone was to get that big, which they very likely never will again, we would know

    And it won't happen

i dont think you realize how much he sold and how far off drake is for example, and no...99% there will never be a rapper who sells more than him

and yes, when it comes to biggest rapper of all time, sales is all that matters...same for movies..and for everything else in life...all that matters is money
