    Ross made fun of 50s dead mom and made jokes about him being shot so I really can’t blame 50 here. f--- em.

    The major thing with Ross I can’t stand is how he pretends he’s some drug lord getting shipments of cocaine delivered to Miami whenever he was never a dealer and was a cop. It’s a shame to the real Ricky Ross drug lord. I’ve seen more dope than Ross ever has.

    Obviously hope he recovers fully.

    He’s portraying a character through his music it’s not that deep.

    No one ever clowns Eminem for not being a mass murdering serial r--ist irl or Nas for inventing his Escobar persona on It Was Written, why is it only an issue when Ross does it

    I agree to an extent but with Eminem’s music, it’s clear he’s playing a character/has an alter ego. Nas certainly is a more accurate comparison but he at least grew up around that lifestyle & people who were involved in it. I think Drake gets more s--- for this than Ross imo. Also, where is the line drawn? Is it ok for someone like Slim Jesus to make the music he makes too?

    Drake doesn’t really fit into the same camp imo because aside from the occasional song here and there the persona he puts on in his music isn’t that unbelievable and again aside from a couple tracks here and there he’s never tried to paint himself as hard. I don’t really have an issue with Slim Jesus and found people who did kinda corny, he was a kid shooting videos in his neighbourhood, it was never that deep to me. He acknowledged right from the off that his music was fiction and he wasn’t about that life, so we should let it slide.

    The thing with Ross is he actually pretended to be some big d--- dealer before he was exposed as a corrections officers. I remember him talking about the streets and he wanted people to actually believe that he’s getting shipments of cocaine.

    I’m sorry, but you can’t do that whenever you literally kept people locked up who did live that life. That’s ridiculous. Eminem wasn’t in interviews before relapse actually talking about killing people. Where Ross tried to lie and trick people. Slim Jesus isn’t even trying to say he’s about that life.

    They created a character though, that's completely different, Rick Ross literally stole someone's life story, straight jacked his existence in a way. Who wouldn't feel f----- up if that happened to them. Still like some of Ross's s--- but not enough to act like that's not at least a lil f----- up.
