A few weeks ago we got what seemed to be the best promotion ever to be used by the Shady Camp, hidden cryptic messages indicating that Eminem was going to suddenly drop a new album, themed Revival. A website filled with hidden Eminem quotes: Seize the moment, Sweaty Palms, I Need a Doctor & Brain Damage, just to name a few.
We saw ads for Revival everywhere, if I'm not mistaken, even on this website those advertisements were to be found.
We received information that he was going to perform at the EMA's and SNL, he was going to come out of nowhere to drop a new cypher freestyle and it became evident that we were going to receive new interviews and Shade45 guest appearances. The hype was real, everyone was talking about Eminem.
His cypher came and we received a brand new looking Eminem, rocking gold chains. His Revival was inevitable, but after his cypher, no news came out regarding the new album.
Hype died a bit, but within a few days we received information that he was going to drop a new Single, Walk on Water. After the song dropped, it received fairly bad rating and the numbers weren't too much to brag about either, a subject he ironically touched on the new song.
He did live performances performing WOW, he also performed singles of his old albums. His new interviews didn't let of any information regarding his new album.
I believe he literally scrapped his new album for one or the other reason. I believe his album should have dropped by now already. I think there would have been news regarding his new single right after his cypher followed by his new album dropping within a few days. Interviews would have given him a chance to give the meaning behind his album and further promote it.
I further believe proof of this can be seen at the SNL show, where guests usually perform two times. At the very end should have been his final performance with more songs. Considering the last 3 'skits' were not recorded live, but playbacks should indicate that SNL was not prepared to have skits in placed, rather than a slot specifically for Eminem. They would have had to feel this in with recordings, because Eminem wasn't going to perform any new songs, scrapped album.
I know this is a long post, it's my first attempt to contribute to this forum since I joined, but what do you guys think? Did Em scrap his new album, is it still on the way or wasn't there any new album to begin with? Let's discuss(This ad goes away when signing up) -

No. I f---ing hate this theory about "scrapping an album"
The fact that he is in the public eye performing, means that the album is finished, mixed and mastered, otherwise Em wouldn't be doing any appearances.
And secondly, he would never have scrapped an album if he was still working on it. He would've just continued to keep recording and change things to make the album better. He could still use the Revival title.
The only scrapped albums were Relapse 2 and King MathersTal, Groovy Tony, UofLCard and 2 others like this. -

Have to solve to code buddy. I'm combing all the videos, interviews and performances for clues. I found a Black dog that symbolises death in the video. I bet it's connected.shady_unit, J WALK and patchinfo like this.
