Yes me. The big Em h8r.

After listening a fair few times now I acknowledge that it does have some of the issues he's literally talking about in the song but it's gotten to the point with him that we're actively looking for them anyway. He's almost like the boy who cried wolf with his output. Even if a song's gonna be good it's almost too good to be true and we'll almost subconsciously dissect it to s--- to find flaws.

Despite some of the "issues" being apparent the pure emotive aspect of the song makes up for it. This is the most emotive song he's made to me. It's the most raw and mortal he's ever been and it's genuine. In some ways it reminds me of the albeit unfinished "Difficult". I've been an outspoken "hater" of Em (a label I disagree with I just say it how it is and I've actually been a bigger fan than most of the stans here have been but I'm not going to be delusional. If my sports teams bottom of the ladder I'm not gonna tell you they're top. Same logic with my favouite artists) nearly my whole time here but it's been warranted. People just can't handle hearing negatives about their favourite artists.

This to me this is genuinely one of his best songs. Purely from the emotive standpoint because it's so real. Yes prior songs he's done have been phenomenal but this song is so much more easier to have a connection to compared to other great songs he's done purely because as well crafted as songs like Stan are etc. there's only so much you can connect to a song about killing your girlfriend or in other cases passionatey hating your mum.

I couldn't believe the specifics he mentioned it was literally like he read posts of mine and heard convos - but statements like him acknowledging we've stripped his confidence etc. have made me more enthralled by him than I've ever been because it's the first time I've felt its not just been a few bars acknowledging haters it's a whole song where he's stripped himself bare and made himself completely human. No real sensationalism, no Shady, nothing. And there was no comeback. Normally there's a comeback but this time there was none.

Yeah, I've been very vocal about his output for years but I'm man enough to admit when he's nailed something and despite the fact some find it "boring" and a one play song (which nearly all his recent "good" songs have been to me literally) I've actually found this one of his most infectious songs. And it's weird cos I feel like it sounds like a song i would play once and I also HATE Beyonce. I hated KND and all those other songs.

There's just something different about this which has really peaked my attention.
