2015 - AFL Season - Round 16 - Port Adelaide Vs. Adelaide - Showdown XXXIX

Dubbed the "Phil Walsh Tribute Match" because our Adelaide senior coach passed away tragically two weeks prior. He was obviously our senior coach but was also Port Adelaide's assistant coach twice during two tenures there. So he was loved by both clubs. His life was taken way too soon and the outpouring of grief throughout that month was felt.

Anyways, the game was on a Sunday afternoon/twilight fixture and a record crowd showed up to see these two teams play a hard, exciting, intense and emotional game of football in honour of the man taken away all too soon.

It was my first ever live football game at the Adelaide Oval and I went with my two best friends. Anyways my team had the ascendancy for most of the match before Port Adelaide came storming home and nearly snatching the win away from us. I was on edge for the whole game and the atmosphere was absolutely scintillating. Imagine 54k people just roaring and cheering and screaming and all that. A sight to behond.

We won that day by 3 f---ing points.

My god I was so proud of my team. The come up triumphant in the face of adversity. To win for our fallen coach. That is why I love my club and that is why I love sports and the game of Aussie rules football.

Probably UFC 202. McGregor vs Diaz 2.

It fell on my birthday. Had a house party for the event. Had a plate full of molly for everyone to f--- with. By the time the fight rolled around, everyone was rolling so hard it was insane lol. I legit felt every blow thrown throughout the 5 rounds.
It's tough to even explain lol.

not on a personal level, but professional sport

for me, its a tie between the 2014 UCL semi-final of Real Madrid vs Bayern 4-0
and the UCL final that same year, specially after that 92:48' goal holllyyyyy shiiitit
and last year's UCL final, trashing Juve with 4 goals, with the greatest performance of all time in the 2nd half

Personal experiences or just from your fav teams? If personal experiences, idk where to start, I was a god back in highschool when I played football. As for the teams I follow, it has to be Phillies winning the 2008 World Series or Birds and Vick coming back to beat the Giants and winning off a punt return TD to coin Miracle at the Meadowlands pt 2.
