    What do u think guys about the huge amount of money that soccer players get paid. Me i think that money can be used in better causes

    @MOUD MEN

    pro athletes probably do get paid (way?) too much. but think about it like this: there are only 32 starting QB's in the NFL and if you hold one of those positions......you have a job that very, very few other people in the world have.

    and the same applies to soccer and the other pro sports

    I get u my man but soccer is more popular and has more positions so i guess the price should be lower in adition of commercial's money that's a lot

    The doctor/firefighter etc vs. pro athlete wage comparison annoys me. Always see it when a footballer signs a new contract & the (apparent) wages get leaked

    The former are paid by the government/state & the latter are the main entertainers in multi-billion pound industries. They get paid their share & that’s how the business works

    Why they work for it?

    How would you feel if someone questioned about how much money you receive for your work/achievements, & said 'oh that money shouldn't go to you it should go to help cure diseases, or some type of charity.'

    & why soccer players?, musicians and football players probably make more money than them.
