    mumble rap is a stupid buzzword by backpack fa----s who cant understand atl slang or accent. its that simple. theres thousands of ppl listening who have no problem understanding the words, and the only ppl i see use the words is either clickbait media or backpack forum nerds.

    If lyrics are important, why would you say immediately after that the flow delivery and cadence will push the culture forward?

    20 years from now I'm not gonna be like "oh man, the way he flowed on that was so amazing. I don't know what he was saying, but it's a classic!"

    Just to clear the air, I'm 31 years old and I have no problem with what new artist are doing. I have my preferences, but id argue I listen to more styles of hip hop/rap than anyone in here.

    I love music, but I love understanding music even more.
