Jul 10, 2017 reminder rap fans who obsess over "deep introspective" rap are nerds who overthink anything
Jul 10, 2017 Jay's new album is more introspective than whatever Immortal Technique song made you start this thread. On a more helpful note, go listen to Billy Woods or Elucid's new stuff.
Jul 10, 2017 I don't listen to Immortal Technique. kys. And thanks for the helpful stuff. This is a classic tho...
Jul 10, 2017 Go listen to Onyx and Dope DoD shotguns in h---, The Perceptionists will be dropping later this month as well, krs one the world is mind, Billy Woods Known Unknown and Brockhampton Saturation, theirs loads of good s--- already mentioned that came out this year
Jul 11, 2017 Listened to some of Joyner Lucas' storytelling songs on youtube @Groovy Tony He's clearly talented and I like some of them. Every single ending is overly dramatic though and I've kinda come to expect it. Keep It 100 is really good but again... little too over the top sometimes. That said, I still really enjoy the song. "Turn around and count to a hundred if you love your life" I dunno why but I love that line. I know it's a small detail but he could have said it in a much blander way.
