Eminem Rate Recovery after 7 years

    I don't think Em has 4 classics. At most I would argue he has 3. SSLP, MMLP, and TES. And even that's a stretch. Relapse and Recovery are both incredibly great albums and rank up there with some of the hip hop classics released in the last decade. But I feel they're both 1 tier below the 3 aforementioned classics. MMLP2 and Encore are both a complete mess. Their highs are some of his career highs but the lows? Yikes, what the f--- was he thinking?!!

    Encore we can blame the leaks and drug use and MMLP2 we can blame Rick Rubin haha. I hate to say that because I really love Rubin. But I can only imagine how dope MMLP2 was gonna be before Rubin entered the picture so late in the recording process. I wish he never crossed paths with eminem haha.

    I'll give it a 1 for Going Through Changes. Besides that I don't think it has a single redeeming factor

    better than mmlp2 but not as good as relapse

    i dig tho if we got something as good as recovery for his next album i would be satisfied

    I can actually listen to Recovery from the first song to the last without feeling a need to skip a song. Something I can't say for the first 3 albums.

    I even love Won't Back Down.

    I thought it was cemented that them 3 albums are classics I never heard different until now. So infinite isn't considered to be s classic?

    its not science sslp mmlp and tes are classics the rest aren't.. not saying he doesnt have more good albums but those are his classics

    I didn't say infinite was a classic I was just asking if it was because often when ppl list the order of the eminem albums by rank they leave infinite off like it doesn't exist

    Voted an 8, but I'd give it an 8.5. My third favorite Eminem album after MMLP and Eminem Show. I love every song except On Fire, Won't Back Down, and WTP.
