Sep 8, 2015 Exactly. He mentions it in the Behind The Music interview and also in The Watcher. They did alter some things, like skipping World Class Wrecking Cru and the Dre-Eazy beef, but they had to do that in order to make it work as a movie and fit ten years of history into a two hour film.
Sep 8, 2015 Totally agree about the Eazy/Dre beef it would of made the movie at the bare minimum a half hour longer. not only that, but the whole Dre/Eazy beef is a bit of a different arc to the NWA story. Like, f--- wit Dre day was Snoop and Dre. They did give a little nod to it imo, when Eazy is giving Dre s--- for his outfit at the club. Would have enjoyed seeing some more Death Row shenanigans though. seeing Daz threaten suge with a screwdriver on screen would of been fucken hilarious.
Jan 5, 2016 Just an FYI for everybody: this is out on digital HD today and comes out on blu ray and DVD January 19th. I'm streaming it now. Great movie!
Jan 5, 2016 I know the blu ray has alot of special features including an unrated director's cut of the movie which is 20 minutes longer than the theatrical version. Also has the making of the movie, interviews with Dre & Cube, etc.

Jan 10, 2016 Question: in the scene where Eazy gets jumped by Suge and his boys, what does it mean when Suge says "don't make me change you Eric"? I was thinking this might be a nod to the 'Suge injected Eazy with AIDS' conspiracy. Others have said that's prison talk implying that Suge had his goons r--- Eazy. Idk?
