Wtf you’re cray. All those are classics. What about Need Me? Might be the best song on the album tbh.

    you're f---ing right, man!

    2005-2008 >>>> 2015-2019

I believe that we are now living in the worst era of Eminem. Since 2015, the promo has become terrible, the music sounds mostly like garbage, the music videos are as if shot by schoolchildren on a mobile phone. No cool featuring with other artists (except for a couple of tracks).

If in 2005-2008 I was expecting new music from Eminem, now I do not expect anything from Eminem.

Felt like an eternity kinda, especially given the uncertainty and the “rumors”

Definitely seemed mismanaged by shady records, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. They did a poor job of setting expectations and staggering decent features to keep his name around. That Akon feature was rly the only semi Hit Eminem was involved w for half a decade lol. The Eminem fans remembered from his peak seemed like it was a closed chapter for sure

As soneone who didnt keep up with Eminem's oersonal life. I thought relpase was his return to music after encore. I assumed he just got rich and f----- off, but yeah i was listening to relapse like "oh wow he did drugs a lot? ... That is such a sick c---- thing to do!!" and relapse is so sick

Around the Encore Era I started praying for Em. It didn’t make sense to me at the time how he went from The Eminem Show Em to Encore Em I assumed he was doing drugs at the time around that time. Also after the 8 mile sound track and D12 world you can hear his music going downhill (Even tho Encore had some gems in it) After Proof died and I seen Em on MTV performing “You don’t know” with 50 Cent and Shady Records I knew Em was using heavy drugs such as Percocet and Vicodin probably klonopin and Valium too. He couldn’t even talk or speak like normal Em!!! I felt so bad for him and prayed I hope that this wasn’t the last I would ever get to see my idol Marshall he’s in a bad place. After the random features he was in around 2006-2007 I still had hope for him. I do believe the government killed off the real Em after Encore with him exposing the government and Proof dying (An Illuminati ritual) in Like Toy Soldiers video with the free Masonic funeral for proof and him dying in real life hit Em and he must of overdosed but I believe they cloned him to keep making music before he died. Then I read he was working on Relapse I’m like yes Em is back. I seen the first picture of We Made You And was like “That’s not even the real Eminem! Wtf I’m not stupid! They I seen him and knew it wasn’t the original Em. But I’m still impressed with the clone he’s still got Marshall in him the original and that’s all that matters!

I’m being honest. All those tracks are fantastic and no one gives them the light of day. Sure they aren’t serious tracks, but a lot of fun with lots of replay ability.

Idk I can’t remember much about it

I just remember someone posting a song from d12 world and the sauce on YouTube as “king mathers” leaks in like 2007 or 2008, and a website being set up with a faded pic of em saying “king mathers coming soon” or something like that.

I remember the lead up to relapse once it was announced very very well though.

It was definitely a departure because his releases were such a staple from when I was in like 4th-8th grade, though it didn't really feel like a hiatus til like 2007 or so cuz he'd had some minor hits like smack that/shake that that kept his name alive. But by that time people were getting so into hyphy, crunk, houston rap, wayne, kanye, jeezy, etc at my high school that he wasn't really the biggest name on anyone's radar cuz people had moved on.

I remember people being excited when the "we made you" video dropped (even if the song wasn't great) because the celebrity-bashing single was nostalgic and meant the em album cycle had begun.

It’s crazy how much hasn’t changed haha. Even back then we got 22 pages discussing how fat Em got.
