Sep 20, 2018Rhyme or Reason is the most underrated track of eminems career...a top 20 song in his discog and I will argue to the day I die
Btw I would take his flow and delivery on that track over any of the double triple time spiritual lyrical miracles he's done since then...and RoR is better as a song than any track on Kamikaze come at me idgaf

His voice sounded great even with his attempt to do songs he did for over two decades ago, jdgaf and my name is tho he didnt try to do the nasally voice on my name is as he did on jdgaf. He didnt do the chloraseptic remix which was a bummer, however he opened with Medicine man which was cut off after the ''whos time is it to get murder on it'' and it worked grrreat as a intro to get the crowd going. and holy moly his new intro to sing for the moment (using a longer version of Dream on) worked perfectly and when 60 thousand people lit up the arena with their cellphone lights the only thing my body was able to do was getting goosebumps.
He shouted out Sweden many times in the chorus to his songs to get the crowd goin ( k--- you, the way i am, stan) and did his usual ''remember when we met in *insert city he's in''
he had three convos with mr porter and alchemist during the set, one where they tried to decide which side of the crowd where the loudest (the arena went crazy lol) then as a intro to My name is they asked how many of us where f----- up and Mr porter pointed at a girl like two meters from me and asked if she had weed on her , then another convo when they were just goofin around asking whos the better friend or smt like that then they started whispering to each other which song he should do next and it ended up being The real slim shady.
One thing that had me shocked is that Mr porter were a great hype man he really did his job, maybe im biased cus I was just pumped to be there but i dont think so cus when i look at the videos i took he does a great job to get the crowd doin.
Also Royce introduced himself as a member to the rap group Slaughterhouse which includes Joe budden,Joell ortiz and he also said Crookeds name so take that as you want, just a noteworthy thing.
Best songs imo was k--- you, The way I am, Sing for the moment, Rap god, Berzerk (surprising i know but it worked perfectly live and i was surprised to how many knew the words to that song, i have always had the impression that that song didnt work that well here), and Lose yourself.. nothing touches Lose Yourself live. fuckk
yeah one night that i will never forget

For some reason people would always assume 'if it ain't on the album, probably pure trash' or presume Em must have picked the best stuff so whatever haven't heard isn't worth hearing. I don't know hwy anybody ever got this idea lol.
First of all, even when he was better at picking s---, there's only so many songs which can go on an album and he was still trying to create a story and a balance. And he's always done the same formula 'my s--- talking track + my story track + my 'b---- track'' yada yada. So it not being on the album says nothing about the quality, or what you may like personally :/
People noticing this more now because they hearing s--- which was left off MMLP2 and the poor choices are glaring. But this is true even from his prime era... Just listened to Till h--- Freezer Over the other day... Brilliant track; also Get You Mad from that era, also Bad Influence, all fantastic songs..
MMLP who knows. Maybe there was a few but everything about that masterpiece is perfect.
TES - left off a Rakim track, Stimulate (fair enough, it doesn't fit sonically but obviously a brilliant track by itself still).
Then as everyone points out lately - Groundhog Day, of course. Wicked Ways, Don't Front is fkn amazing - nobody mentions Baby too. I was listening to that on the train home; I get that it's a generic sounding Em track. Like it sounds like something we could have heard before, nothing special in that sense, but his rapping and lyricism and flowwwww, my god. 11/10.
f---, Relapse era too. That's the most curious to me. I want to know wtf Relapse 2 was, Em said they had enough to make probably 3 albums too... if Stay Wide Awake was on ONE, wtf else did they have for the sequel d--- it.
Recovery even. Solid album. Banging tracks.
Would love to hear all this s---.
None of that was directed at you btw lol. Just responding to s--- I always see people say & little sleep & 50 coffees today, s--- I'm wired, time to sleep.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Bad choice of singles, not many appearances pre-album promoting it. It was genuinely awful. How they can so poorly manage one of the biggest artists of all time is insane..
..that 30 second clip of the Berzerk snippet/revealing MMLP2 got me way more hyped than I ever was for Revival; then we got other appearances, they released Rap God which broke the internet.
He would’ve sold a h--- of a lot more copies if he literally tweeted the date of the album out of nowhere & dropped Believe or something. None of the f---ing around with release dates and not telling the fans what’s going on. And on top of that, the album was not worth 4 years of waiting lolPistolPistol, emss7717, Custommustardstain and 2 others like this. -

Arose is powerful as f---.
His writing and also range of delivery, the way he expresses each emotion and the subtleties... Seriously top shelf s---.
Also the... difference in his voice. There's a lot more power in his 'broken' tones, like when he says "I can see my soul leave my body... "... there's a whole humanity in his tones which hits. Feels like what he was trying to achieve in every Recovery / MMLP2 attempt.Knox, EvinemKobe24, jmillithauglybasedgod and 2 others like this. -
