    Maybe it's the high of just having finished it but I thought it was really good.

    Like OP said, you get invested in the side characters as they all have their own sort-of arc. I did however think some of it was predictable. The twist with the front man was predictable and it was predictable that
    Gi-Hun would win the money and not spend it as he had a bigger moral compass than many of the other contestants.

    everybody says that, it's practically unanimous. there is a theory on YT that the VIP acting was done bad on purpose, because they were meant to reflect the viewers themselves. like yes the VIPs are just sitting there like slobs enjoying the show, but that's also what the Netflix audience is doing too.

    that theory loses me a bit, but it kinda makes sense
    episode 4 f----- with my emotions the most, and episode 6. but episode 4...just letting the players k--- each other in between games was some OD levels of evil
    there definitely were parts to it that were predictable and cliche, but doing something cliche isn't necessarily bad. it is all about execution. like sure, Gi-hun is the main character and he won, but what he had to go through to get there was one h--- of an emotional journey. I was happy to see him ready to try and reconnect with his daughter but then let the vengeance in him get the better of him

    f---ing dope show. We watched it with wifey in 2 days, s--- is pretty intense. Some great plot twists and I'm all in for 2nd season.

    Great show tbh. Finished it a couple of days ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.

    But I do feel a western remake could turn this show from a 8/10 to a 10/10 just by fixing some of the little annoyances people have mentioned in this thread.

    Can a mod wrap OPs post in spoiler tags as well please? I LOT is given away in this post which could put people off watching it. I'm glad a stayed away from this thread until I finished it. Although, I'm glad he didn't mention the huge twist at the end.

    Why is snl so lame? Out of all the sketch comedy shows it's gotta be lamest chapelle show madtv in living color etc only thing I found just as bad as snl was key and peele
