Straight up bars aside, Kendrick has always been great at spoken word-like rhymes, the lines on Ab-Soul's outro beginning with "23 years on the earth searching for answers" are profound. The way he delivers them is second to none, the Reebok commerical is another example of how great he is with voice fluctuations. The verse on Ab-Soul's 'These days' is another one where it feels like he's in a smoky jazz bar, when he neglects riding every wave of the beat and just vents, it puts him on a whole other level.
