Mar 2, 2023 Update: had an air fryer for over a year now & has introduced a whole new dynamic to my cooking that I’ll never look back on. Now the oven gets used once every 2 weeks I’d say on average. Air fryer however, almost daily.
Mar 4, 2023 Ovens have a higher wattage & are usually powered on for 1.5-2x the time per cook, due to pre-heating & larger surface area to heat up. Air fryers are more efficient in energy & time.
Mar 5, 2023 Do you ever pre-heat it? I never do just add one minute to the time (which I guess is also the same). An oven needs like 10 -20 minutes to get warm. Only thing that has oven over fryer is making a pizza. Never had one in the fryer tbh anyone did?

Mar 5, 2023 I never preheat my air fryer but yeah takes around 10-15 minutes for my oven to hit close to optimum temps & I would only use my oven for pizza/ready meals which I eat very rarely these days anyway.
