Did any of you guys tried it ? I'm currently using Windows 8.1 but Windows 10 is waiting for me to upgrade it for free. I checked my laptops website and all of the drivers are supporting Windows 10 and ain't no problem appearing on the horizon. Are there any problems with Windows 10 ? And can I keep my programs, settings and files after the upgrade ? Thanks

You should be able to keep all your programs etc. just make sure you install the OS properly.
I've used Windows 10 since March and honestly i've had hardly any problems, but i have heard that some people have some problems, especially fps issues. Most of them have a laptop too

I've used my friends mac and i personally prefer Windows. Might just be because i've always used Windows.
I guess they are both good for different purposes and it comes down to personal preferences

Hmm. I'm currently studying architecture and I use a lot of drawing 3d programs like Revit but my laptop has good system. Maybe they have those issues because of their laptops

Small sidenote: EVERYTHING you type, install, store or even watch on a W10 device is stored for eternity in NSA headquarters.

I just today witnessed my friend having 40 fps on CS:GO and his laptop has i7 4760 and GeForce 760M if i remember correctly. And his games used to run fine on Windows 8.1
On the other hand my desktop pc became faster, smoother and handled everything better after upgrading to Windows 10

That has been around for a loooooooooong time. Pretty much everything stores information to advertise you things they think you are interested in

True. Soon enough we'll buy things without even knowing what to expect, but we'll be sure to like it!

    Aye, you might as well.

Am I right in thinking no new OS from windows? Its all just updates now?

If that's the case, its not like you need to do it again anytime soon, and windows 10 is decent..
