Mar 30, 2015 Yeah I had MOTMII on my list, so did @helpmefam i think, but there were just too many other things to consider. and with Cudi fading from the spotlight since then, it didn't really seem "essential" as per the list's title
Mar 30, 2015 what @Skippy said for Death Grips is pretty accurate -- Money Store is my favorite project of theirs by far. and it was like my #1 album that year (or maybe RTJ was i cant remember). Dour Candy is just one of the best rap albums ive ever heard in my life. It's a trip. Production is soley by blockhead (aesop rock collaborator), and its just like dense storytelling...woods is like a modern day bard lol but on top of that there are a handful of catchy/timeless hooks, and when things start to click for you, there's no better feeling
Mar 30, 2015 Also, guys, I might go back on @captain awesome 's podcast this sunday to discuss this list so keep an eye out for that next week! Ill try to touch on stuff brought up in this thread
Mar 30, 2015 Oops forgot to thank @Skippy for helping in the OP. I'll dig out my original list later. People should post their own!
Mar 30, 2015 Basically this is a great list if you want to bring someone up to date with the best albums, and most of the recent trends. Well written synopses too I might make a list later
Mar 30, 2015 So far: Undun - The Roots 1999 - Joey Bada$$ Sir Lucious Left Foot...The Son of Chico Dusty - Big Boi Blue Chips 2 - Action Bronson And i'm not sure if check FNL since i didn't like FHD 2014...
