Ryan Lewis is a good producer but macklemore is a dogshit rapper with cookie cutter messages who contradicts himself consistently

Really good read. There's definitely some albums on there that I haven't listened to yet.

I was really surprised to see Nothing was the Same make the list over Take Care.

Edit: Just noticed they were included together...

Its pointless to debate these lists since they are since they are subjective and people aren't gonna change there opinions

Probably Acid Rap & 1999 in the near future. I've heard a few songs from Joey's new album and some from Chance.

Back to that post though, I think if Kendrick got 2 spots for Section 80 & GKMC, Drake deserved 2 as well.

the thing is, i think both kendrick projects have their own identity/narrative, deserving of two different spots

Take Care and NWTS aren't the same in my opinion. TC is the superior project for sure, and that's what was on the list first. NWTS was added as a companion so that we could more clearly explain drake's trajectory the past couple years

but, like, for Run the Jewels, which was also 2 projects in one spot, it was better to group em together because they complimented each other and where released a year apart. A lot of of people saw 2 >> 1 as well (im not sure im in that group). Point being, they had a more concrete identity together than apart.

you could argue NWTS is strong enough to stand on its own, but as it were, it wasn't even on the radar for the list at first lol

section 80 and gkmc both are strong enough to stand alone. kind of a wavering explanation but i think you get the point

edit: this all also an obviously contrived way to include more albums on the list :lolbron::kyrie:

So I guess I'm still the only one who likes NWTS way more huh

yeah you're like almost completely alone on that hahah

but ive also found a renewed love for NWTS due to nostalgia mainly (listend to it so much when it first came out, shoutout to @Mike Tyson and @Jet ) so its w/e

started from the bottom & the language >>>

the hook for from time :hovcry:
