    I thought season 8 was a step up from season 7 in a huge way. And the ending is perfect.

    Season 9 on the other hand.... I just pretend it never existed.

    The writer's strike that year really cut 7 of it's potential. Forced them to rush ideas and not fully execute others. They still handled the birth of Sam great though

    Season 9 was forced on ABC's part so it was obviously not a great idea from the get go
