    what ca is saying is that eminem seemingly raps about his fame, which probably dates the original to 2000. which is admittedly confusing, because most of the bme stuff that surfaced was from before sslp.

    I don't know how accurate this will be but TRShady says it was recorded in 99 so maybe it might of been late in the year when he was writing for mmlp ?

    My opinion changes on this song all the time.

    I think Eminem sounds better, and from a technical standpoint, out-performs Jay.

    But, then again, Jay's rhymes are pretty f---ing crazy too...

    However, I think Jay's overall message is way more meaningful than Em's.

    It's really tough to say. Eminem sounds way more smooth and charismatic than Jay though, which is a shock because Jay, to me, is the most charismatic rapper of all time.

    IDK, I give a SLIGHT edge to Eminem...

    Eminem's delivery and flow is just absolutely flawless in this song....
