Feb 14, 2016 "The way I saw the album, it was divided into 2 parts. Everything up until I Love Kanye was the gospel portion. It had goat singing and amazing production throughout. I Love Kanye is about people wanting the old Kanye back. Waves is kinda saying that the wave (symbolizing the old Kanye) will never die. Everything after there is Kanye with his sampling and straight bars. It also fits in with the album cover, which has the wedding photo (possibly symbolizing the gospel half), and the booty pic (symbolizing the hip-hop half) 10/10 album kanye a god for this one. Which/One" - cgeorge96 "the album is all about duality and the fight between doing right and wrong, and kanye has to make a choice. the "wolves" are the temptations that kanye is surrounded by, trying to shield his kids from. thats why its his family and a bad white b---- which one??? in the end he pics his family. "life is precious, we find out" - oanye fan "that's why he mentions his **** and f---ing b------s so much, he's showing his materialistic side. Then in the second half, he shows us his introspective, life-appreciating side" - cgeorge96 @KanyeSXN you need to read this srs
Feb 14, 2016 I like that a lot, thinking about it that way makes the album a lot more cohesive now. thanks!

Feb 14, 2016 There's no gospel half and non gospel half. It's a gospel album in 3 acts. Waves is so much bigger than just being about Kanye, lol
Feb 14, 2016 It makes sense since the album is about Paul the apostle that had two radically different lives
