10/10. The production, storytelling, lyricism, and flow highlight this modern day classic. My Krazy Life is the ethos of bringing together classic rap elements with modern soundscapes. Top 10 album of the decade, and not even YGs best :emoji_wink:

Because it was @Sav Stanfield idea to create discussion about each album instead of just people posting their ratings and leave it at that

Instead of going album by album which will take forever, why don’t you just list all of the contenders at once and we leave are respective /10 rating for each one. We can skip and albums we haven’t listened to

I forgot about it completely. It was dope but somehow it lost all of its' replay value suddenly. Album was pretty good. It felt like an EP, I mean at least should have been like 9 tracks but who cares really. I'd give it a 8.

I figured I'd just go through a bunch of popular/albums from the decade lol. But now that I think about it would be dope if you or anyone else wants to jump in to give some different perspectives?

Still one of the best rap albums of 2018. Not my favorite from the man, but still bumping. RIP Nip.

I remember liking this "tape" more when it first came out. After Die Lit dropped, this seemed more of a lesser work. Still vintage Cartier though. First 4 tracks are strong, after that, besides New Choppa, tracks are just decent. Carti still the GOAT of Soundcloud.

Boy this album is a trip, from so many standpoints this counts as Thug's arguably finest solo work but that title could belong to just about any of his work (if you ask me I'd go with BTG). There is a consistent airy sound, courtesy of frequent collaborators LondonOnTheTrack & Wheezy, those two are musical Siamese twins for Thug--it allows all this unfiltered ebullience and unlimited cadences to just let loose on those keys and brisk drums. It's a combination that honestly never gets boring, it's built a platform for his musical kids like Lil Baby & Gunna, their sonic blueprints trace back to this album.

It's hard to point flaws at this, Thug delivers such a creative masterclass it's just perplexing. I think I gravitate a little more to Jeffery & BTG just cause it's Thug in a different element, but this was one h--- of a way to break the gates and this whole timeframe mixed with the Slime Seasons was such a blast to experience.

the good days of section 80 when this album was out.
Narsh was annoying but you miss seeing his opinion on Thug although it was always very very positive

Yeah same here. Incredible, testify etc are not trap songs at all. Thats why hndrxx is my fav future album, love the diversity in production.

Not necessarily. It kinda reminds me of Future's version of Trapsoul. So it's like some R&B and trap hybrid some sort of way. But it doesn't feel like trap to me.

Half time is one of my favorite Thug songs. For Y'all remains by far the best imo, but thats another album.

Despite its somewhat corny name, it sounds so d--- polished. Thug shows his talents over beautiful production. I made it clear that I sometimes get bored of a full trap album, but this ain't one of them. The melodies are so different that every song sounds unique. My 2nd fav thug album behind BTG. Also Amazing proves that Thug x Jacquees is a great combination! Tip/birdman etc deliver as well.

I completely agree w @WheresTheMeat that the cover sucks but I never care about covers/titles etc. It won't make my rating of the actual music lower. 8.5/10

Thug got the WOAT covers. They're so terrible they're GOAT worthy.

Anyway just gonna plug in the top trap albums imo.
