    Man, I wish I was as petty as everyone going, "Imagine thinking this" they say as they don't actually contribute to the discussion and continue to be snarky c--- suckers. Make your own f---ing list if you want to b---- about it. I went through the time to do this and you guys want to act like a bunch of cry babies.

    Really close between Kodak and Gates for me. Thugger hasn't owned 2016 as much as he owned 2015 (and in my opinion, 2014), but I still think he belongs on this list. Future again hasn't owned 2016 nearly as much as 2015 either, as Evol was two backward steps for him while Purple Reign was one step forward. Kodak keeps gaining more and more traction and his newest mixtape might even surpass Wave Gods as my mixtape of the year (although I'm still letting it resonate a bit more). However, Kevin Gates did give us Islah which lived up to Stranger than Fictiom and Luca Brasi 1 standards. I personally give the edge out to Kodak but that is due to him being nineteen years old and he somehow manages to be my most listened artist of 2016. Hope he gets out soon as well

    Great post.

    One thing that edges Thug into this that I forget to mention in OP was his work on the Bankroll Mafia tape. It was excellent.

    Didn't you say SS3 was average? Was that a joke or did it grew on you? I'm not a fan of I'm Up either but I love SS3
