Don't know if any others consider these classics, but Mos Def has Black on Both Sides, The Ecstatic and obviously Mos Def & Talib Kweli are Black Star.

    Eminem has 8 classics
    50 cent has 6 classics
    game has 5 classics
    g-unit has 1 classic
    flo rida has 4 classics
    Dr Dre has 2 classics
Macklemore has 1 (but potential to make as many classics as Eminem imo)
Logic has 6 classics if you include mixtapes.
Chris Brown has 6, if you include his album with Tyga. (That would also make Eminem have more, cause he made that classic joint album with royce59)

    So I think Eminem wins?

Black On Both Sides & Blackstar are essentials if you ask me. The Ecstatic is awesome but I'd leave it as a nice late career album ala Life Is Good. I stan Common but idk how many of his albums are considered undisputed classics, I'd say Be & One Day It'll All Make Sense are the closest.

UMC will never get love haha, I actually liked The Dreamer/The Believer more than Nobody's Smiling although I think it falls under the observation I think you once made about how the production somewhat carries Common. I might give Electric Circus a spin I remember a lot of gems like this:

    Nas

    Illmatic
    It Was Written
    I Am (stretch)
    Stillmatic
Lost Tapes (stretch since it's a compilation)
    God's Son (stretch)
    Hip Hop Is Dead (stretch)
    Life Is Good (definite stretch)

I Am has songs that you skip, but the highlights of this album are just too good. I understand when people don't consider it a classic, which is cool, but I feel like it has some of Nas' best songs on it. Small World, Nas Is Like, Undying Love, Money Is My b----, NY State Of Mind 2. Love this album.

Life Is Good is a stretch because I love it for nostalgic reasons. It was vintage Nas to me, mixed with some great personal songs. Not gonna lie, I overrate the s--- out of it.

    Jay Z

    Reasonable Doubt
    Blueprint 1
Blueprint 2 (stretched to the limit on this, wish it was single disc)
    The Black Album
    American Gangster (stretch)

BP2 has some of my favorite Jay songs, but it suffers from the double disc curse. I'm comfortable considering it a classic tho. Meet The Parents >>>, and BP2 (song) is one of my GOAT diss tracks.

I wanted to put Hard Knock Life on this list too, because for nostalgic reasons, but I showed restraint.

I can think of a lot of rappers with 2 classics, but Jay (Reasonable Doubt, Blueprint, Black Album) and Kanye (College Dropout, Late Registrartion and MBDTF) are probably at the top. Especially if you count WTT as a classic (but that might be a stretch).

Nas has Illmatic and It Was Written, might be a stretch calling Stillmatic a classic as well.
