Nov 12, 2020 Got mine in the mail today and find out the upgraded version of madden won’t even be available until December, so now I have a $500 box sitting on my floor collecting dust. I guess I’ll buy the new call of duty tomorrow just for something to play but f--- man!
Nov 12, 2020 Yea I’ll wait a year or two lol. My PS4 runs fine at the moment. Not exactly blown away with anything graphically speaking either. No real reason to go out and get one. Gonna be a few years until you see a leap like from ps3 to ps4.
Nov 12, 2020 Get Assassin's Creed: Valhalla if you like that series at all - best AC in a loooong time.
Nov 13, 2020 Does the personal internet in Europe s---? Multiple colleagues in UK and one in Prague were complaining today that their internet sucks because of the Xbox release and the PS5 next week will be worse. Never heard of that
Nov 13, 2020 Yeah, there's a bandwidth shortage there. America's running out of Bandwidth too. Need new investments in network infrastructure to increase supply.
Nov 13, 2020 What if we just unplug and plug the master router back in? Btw why was s--- censored when you quoted me? That's kind of sucky
Nov 13, 2020 Nope. That's sounds fishy. When all Europe was in lock down the internet never was down or with problems. PS5 and Xbox wouldn't cause shortages of bandwidth.
Nov 16, 2020 Depends what you pay for tbh. The smaller companies have less bandwidth than the more expensive ones so when there is loads of people online it may lag. Such a huge disparity of speed across the country as well. Central London tends to be the worse because the council's won't let companies dig roads up to lay new cables. I'm stuck on a painful 10mb/s connection. Luckily my mobile data on my phone downloads at anywhere between 50-100mb/s so I don't tend to use my home WiFi for anything other than connecting my TV and Alexa to it.
Nov 16, 2020 Not true. Everyone knew there was going to be huge issues so all streaming companies downgraded the compression data. So file sizes were less, resulting in a mostly un-noticable difference. So now we have a combination of more people back online because of lockdown and add the additional people gaming online which (to the best of my knowledge) can't be downgraded and use less data. So yeah, I recipe for disaster really!
Nov 16, 2020 Downgrade data for streaming services is different then throttle your bandwidth. Online game doesn't make a difference at all. The data generated is irrelevant we talking about 150-400MB tops. Streaming games (stadia) will be a problem in the future but right now its not.
Nov 23, 2020 Did the Kohl's ones actually go through? I heard there was a glitch on their website that allowed orders when they didn't have enough allocation.
