Very much so. They all s---. I feel bad for Eminem for being forced to put up with them due to circumstances.

At first I read this as "He blew up big time" and thought you made a funny dark joke. He wouldn't have blew up ever. He was with Eminem since the beginning and didn't do s---. He lacked any sort of appeal to the audience.

Proof wasn’t a quiet rapper I can say that right now he always had some of the illest verses if you go back listen to early D-12 how do you think Em got through his verses by learning from him Proof and Carnell Pitts Aka Bugz they were his teachers thats why he studied from them plus also Proof and J Dilla were good friends in Michigan see I know much history about D-12/Em the whole Detroit music scene like that lot of good mc’s from that area

    ???
Em isn't some child who was forced to put up with them, he's a grown man who chose his own friends, he liked them even if ya didn't.

It's funny I'm a big Em fan but a lot of cac stans like to pretend that Em is some rare gem that had no help in becoming the talent he eventually became. Those guys pushed him lyrically, validated him, accepted him, believed in him and rapped with him everyday.

Em was the better rapper but there's no way they s---, only if it's not your style. First D12 album still a classic my guy.

RIP Proof but you are dramatically overrated by stans when it comes to actual talent and rapping ability

though I will say u were better than the rest of Eminem's crackhead junky friends, you were good

You and your few friends decide to rap together and make it big. You make it big, they don't, but they're your friends. You can't just ditch them, you feel a sense of loyalty to them, even though they're dragging you down.

And D12 couldn't push Eminem lyrically beside planting the idea "let's rap about insane things". The idea is ok, but they all failed at it except Eminem.

..and sslp is also overrated and not a classic, right?
    :rockynotimpressed:

I just don't get why ppl are so dramatic about how bad they are, they're not as good as Em. Man can't remotely say they can rap without ppl being offended by it lol idgi. It's true.

Em was lightyears ahead of them in songwriting and concepts, creativity, storytelling etc. but on pure rhyming skills back then the gap wasn't that far, anyone that can't objectively recognise that I feel is just deifying Em bc they can relate to him and not those guys.

Those comparison's aren't even remotely close though. A lot of people actually consider sslp classic my opinion was minority....literally no one outside of Em stans think D12 are any good
