    I was at the dentist when i heard the news, and my dentist started saying the dumbest s--- about him.

    He said never liked him at all, thought he was a jerk, thought his music and style was ripping off micheal jackson and that it’s no suprise that he died at such a young age.

    I wanted to punch him in his throat.

    As sucky as it is to get into someone's music AFTER they've passed, I feel it's only natural. I had downloaded a greatest hits Prince album a couple years ago and listened a couple of times, but

    I bought Purple Rain today, and after three listens, I've gotta say it's great. Not a bad song on here. Definitely excited to purchase and enjoy more of his albums!

    David Bowie & Prince always gave the impression they are aliens that are gonna live forever so this is just shocking, RIP to a music icon.
    The right answer should be 2Pac's To Live And Die In LA but this was always my favorite usage of a Prince song in rap, same song title and all.

    I'm not going to front today (like a lot of people on social media) and act like I was a Prince fan because I really wasn't. Growing up, I thought Prince was some strange alternative s--- for adults (I was a Michael Jackson fan though). But as I got older and seeing my father and his brother's admiration for Prince's work, I began to at least respect him as an icon. My father was always talking about Purple Rain and I remember my uncle had the Controversy album on vinyl since it dropped. But my knowledge of his work is limited nonetheless. So i'll just end it with Rest In Power to Prince, he had a tremendous impact on my father's generation, as well as Hip Hop and as well as every generation after.
