Well I'm not sure that the official figures are yet in but quoted from xxl.com;
'Drizzy’s latest project is set to move between 500,000 and 550,000 equivalent album units in its first week'

It really doesn't hurt "me" (A former Huge Eminem Aficionado, mind you.) to have to realize and accept that Eminem in his prime was pretty much a music superstar and the type of notoriety he garnered in his prime is both unprecedented and rarely duplicated or even properly emulated. I might like and prefer Drake music more right now, but I'm not blind. And Em has the upper-hand advantage for a few reasons. Let's not ignore that those factors have aided in facilitating his success, regardless of how controversial and polarizing he could be in his Mid-To-Late-20's. -

guys I don't really know about US or America as a continent but in Europe and Asia Eminem is probably still more well known than Drake is. -

Not even close. Eminem is the most popular (namely worldwide) rapper we have or probably ever will see. Drake isn't the polarizing figure em was, from my recollection of the early 2000s Eminem was on an entirely different level and played a huge hand in getting the genre where it is today in terms of it's casual fan base -

Literally the only factual argument you can make is sales, and Em blows Drake out of the water in that department. -

"And eminem has better melodies and a singing voice i like hailies song and mockingbird his bridges and melodies and singing talent is why hes so great. There are better mcs than him like rakim and scarface but his singing is the best - I'm also severely autistic and bring nothing to the table in any aspect of life" -
Mar 23, 2017
He's gonna be like 'Em sold x amount of records in Michigan in the past 72 hours, Drake didn't even get to half of that!' then he's gonna go on with 150 more (probably made up) similar examples that no one's gonna read.Mar 9, 2026(This ad goes away when signing up) -

No one who was alive and following Em at all during this time would even suggest their popularities in their primes are even close..
It's just not, sorry.. really not much else to discuss here. -
