I went through a big screamo phase in 2006-07. Silverstein was one of my favorite bands. Their first two albums were great. It was definitely just a phase though.

A girl I liked at the time got me into it. Discovering the Waterfront is actually a decent record. Alexisonfire isn't a bad band either.
She was into a lot worse stuff that bastardized electronic music so I consider myself lucky.

Metallica, Pink Floyd or GNR. Grew up listening to those the most as a kid from myself and my father

edit: d--- @Kon, nothing wrong with being a Hootie and the Blowfish fan, they had a lot of good songs and like redsoxx said, Darius Rucker (Hootie) has a d--- good solo career now.

Third Eye Blind, their classic self-titled album came out when I was one so that is all I would hear my dad play the first few years of my life.

Yeah I'm not embarrassed or anything, just not really a fan of their music anymore. Guess maybe I'll look into his solo career some if I'm bored, mostly country stuff from what I understand right?

American Idiot Green Day and Black Parade by My Chem. Could be worse I suppose. And I still enjoy those bands today, so I guess it's no big deal. I didn't really get into music that much until I was in third or fourth grade and I didn't really get into Hip-Hop until years later.
