He didn’t even start having a business relationship with Drake until like 2012. Dre put him on, hence why his joint deal with aftermath/interacope is when his career blew up with the all time classic good kid mad city. Drake ain’t do s--- with that. Lmfao. Kendrick been one of the biggest rappers since 2012. This ain’t new. Just cuz he did a song with Drake don’t mean he didn’t already have a major fanbase and hit records. Dre was the top executive producer of the Mad city, Kendrick’s lyrics and rapping is why it’s an all time classic album. It’s why he still respects Dre to this day.
