Apr 2, 2026 at 1:07 PM I actually meant to put the grudge in favourites, I like the progression. But as for the other two, sorry. They just don't do anything for me.
Apr 2, 2026 at 1:13 PM Making the bed was my favorite O Rod song for the longest until the last week or so when I rediscovered The Grudge and it took the top spot
Apr 2, 2026 at 2:01 PM In terms of legacy yes but I’m 100% taking Olivia’s last two over Taylor’s saying this as a fan of both
Apr 2, 2026 at 2:16 PM Honestly like the rock production and writing more on Olivia's work. Maybe cause she's not hailed as some songwriting great like Taylor is but I find it more endearing. If Olivia ends up writing the same way a few years from now I'll probably feel similarly that I do to Taylor but time will tell.
Apr 2, 2026 at 4:30 PM Gigantic post incoming I understand. It’s a goofy song, but I like Olivia’s goofy sense of humor. It’s one of the reasons I like her so much. One of her best songs, Olivia’s intros are always fire. It basically is that time frame after high school. She was like 19 when the album release and 18 during a lot of the writing Good score coming from someone who doesn’t really like this kind of music It was crazy to see her rise. We haven’t had a popstar blow up on that level since then. It almost seemed impossible at the time but it somehow happened. It helps that she had Disney behind her and also had that love triangle drama with Sabrina Carpenter and Joshua Bassett. I also feel like GUTS wasn’t promoted nearly as much as SOUR was. The new album should be a bigger moment since it’s a new era. brutal is legendary, one of my favorite intro songs ever. Finally someone with good taste. It’s department store music but the best kind of department store music. It’s so great. To have a popstar of her high level of fame speaking on social anxieties is awesome. Let’s face it, most of our generation relates to it. “Feels like my skin doesn’t fit right over my bones.” is one of my favorite lines ever, so relatable. That’s why I love Olivia’s writing, she’s very authentic to herself and doesn’t pretend to be something she’s not. She can be emotional and humorous at the same time. Love her ad-libs on the track: “Searchin' how to start a conversation on a website (how to flirt)” I love it, her humor is elite I agree, I’ve thought about her making a full rock album before. It’s very clear her 2 biggest influences are Hayley Williams and Taylor Swift. The Hayley Williams songs are better usually. I also want her on some rap songs. Good score Yup, I always like timing my picks with new releases. This has been a good year for me. One of my generation’s best popstars I already have the nails ready. This is where we completely differ. The writing is the biggest strength to me. It’s authentic, witty, and entirely relatable to my generation. I can agree with this to a certain degree. Not bad But unironically I agree. Taylor Swift is a complete overrated b---- who pushes other women down despite acting like a feminist. She likes to get political only when it’s convenient for her and won’t affect her image. She’s too afraid to speak out against Donald Trump despite trying to be “political”. Her fans act like she’s a lyrical genius even though her last few albums sound like high schooler lyrics more immature than Olivia Rodrigo’s even though she’s pushing 40. Oh also for some reason people like to act like Taylor’s old songs are classics now even though back in the day they all hated on it and clowned on it. The reason why Taylor Swift is popular is because your average person has terrible taste and don’t know what they want, which is why they’ll clown on something bad and then years later turn around and pretend it’s classic. Olivia Rodrigo is better and will have a better legacy in the long run because she isn’t a cornball millennial pretentious cowardly shitcunt
Apr 2, 2026 at 5:09 PM You seem mad at queen Taylor and its okay, I think Olivia is hot af, and find some of Taylor's tactics annoying but they're far from the same league musically.
