We’ve seen from interviews that he basically believes that because he no longer has the anger he had when was younger he can’t make amazing music anymore. Once you have a belief like that ingrained in your head you’ve screwed yourself. There’s no limit to creativity. We’ve had numerous examples now of older rappers still making great music. Eminem has no excuse.
