Mar 3, 2026 at 3:46 AM Pretty good, the whole breakup thing really had me in my head. Legit her and I had no issues at all ever, talked for like 3-4 hours on the phone twice a week (long distance) had such good chemistry. Then she just acted as if it didnt really matter. Gave me no real actual reason for the break up yada yada yada all that s---. My perception of her completely changed in early January, id given her two months of space. I sent a voice message just being like "look i get s--- doesn't always work out, but can we have an actual convo about stuff". Two weeks later I get a 4 minute voice message back, but I cant hear most of it lol like 80 percent of it is inaudible, just mumbling bs and she was driving when she sent it, so it was on Bluetooth and I couldn't hear s---. I replied and was like hey I cant make out most of this message, and havent heard from her since lol ive realized shes a f---ing emotionally immature loser who cant have adult convos. Anyways started going to therapy, learnt all about avoidant attachment so ive kinda got my own closure with that situation. Just was such a mind f---, like the amount of self doubt I was having and stuff. But ya man im good now, I do really appreciate you guys asking and stuff. Also appreciate that you guys enjoy this enough to keep it going when im MIA!

Mar 3, 2026 at 9:48 AM @Ripper Roo - The Good Ol’ Days Are Now… review Apologies once again for taking my sweet a--- time with this review, glad to be taking a crack at it now though… Better later than never, ya’know. Liked gold by 2hollis a whole lot. The production is very interesting and pairs insanely well with the almost punky vocals. Liked that it kicked the mix off on an energetic note. Also, the knocking at the end scared my a---, thought the crib was under siege. What I’d heard from Lil Tecca up until this point hadn’t really made me a fan of the guy. That said, Dark Thoughts was a pleasant surprise. It’s a very smooth song that’s very catchy and easy on the ears. Being catchy and easy on the ears is a quality that the next track, DUN DI DUN, has in spades. This song is one of my favorites on this tape. Not only is the track super ethereal and wispy, it is also sounds so d--- immaculate all around. I adored the production. 4 Raws is, besides the Redveil song later on, the only track that I was familiar with when I first played this tape. The song is pretty hard all around. I like the loop in the beat, very menacing sounding… also the flow on here is d--- hard too. Sha Crow’s ARNOLD PALMER had me in perma stank face mode. Great jazzy production, rapping is great and has this contagious energy that you just can’t not vibe to. The whole song sounds like some vintage hip-hop, I love how the vocals are mixed. A pretty d--- great track for sure. I did not really care much for fakemink’s Young Millionaire . Some good lines on it but the track did not do all that much for me. TELL ME WHAT I DID grew a bit on me after a few listens. Wasn’t really that crazy about the singing at first but then the combination of those vocals+the lively production (the ending portion had me ascending) really clicked. Under Your Spell was interesting. The song has a cool build-up. Again, big fan of the vocal mixing on here. Ovine Hall’s Go was a b-----r tune. One of my favorites on here. This s--- sounds great, the energy is crazy and that 808 is pure crack. 10/10. Malvada was a pretty crazy song too. Very catchy with a gorgeous instrumental and a great peformance by Bb trickz. Really liked how lowkey she came off on here. Infinitely entertaining imo. Midnight Sun gets better and better throughout its runtime. When that instrumental drops it drops hard. The singing is great too. Liked this one. Don’t get me wrong, Diet Pepsi is a pretty song and I really do see the appeal that this track has. I gotta say, though, that it had me a tad bored at times. Didn’t really click with me all the way. As I said, I was already familiar with brown sugar. I love this song, it’s just great and there is not much else I can say about it. This song, to me, sounds like it was directly inspired by Flower Boy. Also, Smino kinda sounds like Mac Miller on here. Great track!!!! G-ANNIS FREESTYLE was d--- great as well. Mavi came with the flows on here, he sounds amazing. This track is very very replayable to me, been spinning it a whole lot this past few weeks. Similar to the previous song, what will they say completely blew me away. This song, as well as Samara Cyn in general, are probably the favorite discoveries that I’ve made via this mixtape. Loved everything about this. IDK WHAT TO TELL YOU in a way feels like a sister track to the Samara Cyn song. Again, I loved this song. It is a great choice of a closing song and a great way to wrap the mix up. The rapping’s soulful and melodic while the beat is probably one of my favorite ones off of The Good Ol’ Days Are Now. All in all guys, I had a great time with Roo’s latest mixtape. The whole thing put me onto a bunch of new music and was a great show of constructing a mixtape that’s cohesive and intentional in what it sets out to do. I did have a few tracks that didn’t blow me away when compared to the highs of this mix but those songs weren’t bad; just not my cup of tea. Thank y’all for reading my thoughts on the mixtape, hopefully I can find the time to get to the other two before ww3 kicks off. 8.5/10 @AOTWClub @Yeez
Mar 3, 2026 at 10:44 AM Yeah that sounds pretty good. Ripper's tape from 2 weeks ago has most of the scores in, so I could tally that one up pretty quickly so that you have the last two tapes to tally btw we've had a couple member departures/additions over the past round, so the following members are confirmed to be participating for the schedule you cook up: jankland, michael myers, yeez, jimmy jazz, justin trudeau ripper roo, csw, allis mines, diggledogg69, lowkitz
Mar 3, 2026 at 10:51 AM @AOTWClub the scores are in, and The Good Ol' Days Are Now has scored... 8.6!!!! It is now in 9th place. Congrats @Ripper Roo Also, since JT is back, I want to thank everybody for being so patient with how the current round has gone up to this point. Things were pretty hectic with JT's absence, the abrupt start, that big derailing we had with Zeb and SM, and the departures mid-round. I probably could've handled it better in some places, but once again, I thank all of you for your patience. Love y'all, and I can't wait to see what the next round has in store
