But yeah, he's never been a top tier lyricist, and much of his writing is embarrassingly bad, especially with Em quoting him and acting like he's a goat writer lol. Makes no sense when Em values multis and clever phrasing and ideas so much.

The fact that Eminem said that 50's verse on "Places To Go" made him question his career is just laughable, LOL. It's clear that only Eminem on pills or post comeback has said those things about 50. I don't think I've seen anything about Eminem in 1999-2002 calling 50 a good rapper. He probably just recognized the appeal, especially considering his backstory.
