Feb 14, 2026 at 1:07 PM The black album was supposed to be Jay’s. I remember back in the days people thought Encore was the end of slim shady
Feb 14, 2026 at 3:40 PM yeah my first thought was this isn't J Cole, because it's so different from what he usually does.
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:08 PM If g unit would of got their head in the game I belive it would of been a legendary group. The talent and production was there. And yayo is overly hated. It was the cool thing to say yayo is the worst rapper ever back in MySpace days. Its like the internet hating nickle back. They weren't the best but surely not the worst lol
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:09 PM They already are a legendary group thanks to 50 cent. Yayo has some good tracks but he's nowhere near being a legendary rapper. He had 1 album for god sake.
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:17 PM I bought every debut album from every g unit member and enjoyed them all to some extent. Hunger for more being my favorite
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:20 PM @BIGFOOT saying g unit is legendary group because of 50 is like saying d12 is a legendary group because of Eminem. When really they both put major dents in their solo career putting their group on. Imagine a eminem solo album instead of 8 mile and devils night. That would of been the absolute pinnacle for rap. However I'm glad we got 8 mile
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:25 PM If 50 did a solo album like his label wanted instead of beg for mercy. And didn't help game with the documentary. Plus him wasting records on the grodt soundtrack that could of easily been turned into a solid solo album. 50 would of easily had 4 classics in a row. And would easily be loved in rap like eminem is . Now thats not to say 50 doesn't get his flowers. But this dude reinvented how the entire game put out mixtapes. And dropped the biggest debut in rap history.
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:29 PM Yeah 50’s run could have been longer if he stop getting into antics and beefs. The Kanye battle really f----- him up and gave him a public L. But he asked for it, and didn’t read the room. The mtv trl teens were moving on. Anyone with an ear to the streets knew that Kanye & Wayne was the next wave.
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:31 PM D12 got lucky. These millennial midgets don’t even know the name of my band. They were never gonna blow up under any other circumstance. Only proof had the connections to actual be something in the industry.
Feb 14, 2026 at 5:31 PM Not really as it's completely different types of hip hop. D12 was more horror core comical whilst G-Unit was producing gangster rap which was very popular bro. And yes, without Eminem D12 would have been triple copper. G Unit still had Banks and Buck and Buck was a solid songwriter. Not one D12 member is a good songwriter bar Eminem. Levels to that s---.
