I fully agree that the beat switch is where I dropped the ball a bit, I tried to do what I did with EmoLatina where I was punching in and everything else that came with that track, but it didn’t have the same effect and it probably wasn’t the best type of song to do that strategy over. I was a little more serious in the first half and the second half I kind of just started saying s--- and talking s---, when maybe I could’ve stayed a little more in bounds with what I said in the first verse just more confident because of the beat being more aggressive in the second half. The punch in freestyle and flow strat worked with EmoLatina because it was more of a carefree type of song and I had time to sit down and go over it more and more because I was on break and could toy with it a lot more whereas here I was trying to keep it as something I was working on primarily in my dorm when I had some free time after class/homework was done for the night.

Hoping to get some more music out soon and begin rolling out my first project late spring/early summer. Can’t wait for yall to hear it, and I hope I get invited to another matchup sometime! (And whoever I go against next won’t be so lucky )

And I’ll choose some production I’m fully comfortable over next time too. I picked lost forever mostly for the first beat, then once it got to the second beat I eventually just ran out of steam (I actually trimmed out a chunk of the second beat as well because I knew any more would’ve been dragging)

On a serious note, this is a fun exercise just to get the pen working or hone in on your skills and I appreciate the opportunity to keep my sword sharpened! Can’t improve by dropping songs then relaxing until you feel like writing and releasing again!

This was a surprising turn of events for sure, I thought DiggleDogg69 would easily win. However, I must say CSW put a lot of effort in and this is easily the best song I’ve heard from him by far. He really is improving and I’m glad to see it. I had a feeling the woman on the hook would give him an edge as well. Personally I think DiggleDogg69 had the better song but the gap in quality wasn’t nearly as big as I thought it would be between the participants. After reading the thoughts of the judges I see where they are coming from and agree with a lot of their thoughts. I’m proud of both participants and congrats to CSW for winning.

Ah okay, ye i feel okay just rapping in my kitchen coz its away from my neighbour lol and idk i just felt left out. Found a beat and starting writing to it :L

Like i have FL Studio producer edition but recorded it on my phone out of boredom

No idea if im good coz i only write smth every couple years but this was just a fun hour or 2, hopefully when I move i can record more coz this s----s like therapy to me even if im just drunk and yappin, will listen to the others now tho
