Jan 31, 2026 at 4:54 PM "Labias" is like saying "shoeses". It's already plural with the "a". Get it right, you illiterate baboon
Jan 31, 2026 at 5:02 PM I did a relisten of every Em album in the lead-up to TDOSS and again one year after its release. My second relisten of Revival was very short, though, often skipping after the first verse and hook.
Jan 31, 2026 at 5:23 PM Untouchable started off fairly strong rapping-wise with most of the first verse: Black boy, black boy, we ain't gonna lie to you Black boy, black boy, we don't like the sight of you Pull up on the side of you Window rolled down, 'profile' Then we wonder why we see this side of you Probably comin' from the dope house We could let you slide but your tail light is blew, out We know you're hidin' that Heidi Klum On you another drug charge, homie, it's back inside for you And just in case a chase might ensue, we got that tried and true Pistol drew right at you, we'd be delighted to unload it in your back Then he trips over his own rhyme scheme and completely sabotages it in the next line: then walk up and lay that taser on the side of you What a shame. Such sloppiness would have been criminal by prime Eminem's standards. He might have freestyled something like this but putting it on a studio album would be unthinkable. Needless to say almost all rest of the song is an absolute abomination.
Jan 31, 2026 at 5:31 PM I dont understand how he sabotaged the scheme of why is it abomination after that. 2nd verse is just as strong.
Jan 31, 2026 at 5:45 PM It sounds extremely forced to me. As a non-lyricist, I could have written that. A far cry from his writing from 1997-2003, and certainly during his absolute peak when all the rhymes naturally fell into place. You could to a far extent say the same about Relapse, I think. Weird accents aside I can't say I remember a rhyme from that era that was as ungainly as that Untouchable line.
Jan 31, 2026 at 5:53 PM Relapse rhyming is unmatched. I still dont see how this line is particularly bad. The rhyme scheme had to end somewhere. Quality of the song aside, its weird it and Like Home didnt get any attention. They are even more relevanr today. Just didnt hit anyone's radar. Similarly Darkness (top 5 Eminem song), it just didnt register. Shame.
Jan 31, 2026 at 6:00 PM Revival was more than 8 years ago. In that span, Eminem had the 99 - 03 run twice. Weird how years work
Jan 31, 2026 at 6:03 PM You just love throwing these outrageous opinions out there, just for the reactions. Yes, I'm triggered. Are you happy?? LOL
Jan 31, 2026 at 6:05 PM Sorry man. The concept, the execution, the lyrics, the entendres, the creshendo to the climax. Its perfect. Second only to 8 Mile.
