Jan 30, 2026 at 7:19 PM I f---ing love bowling bro I be striking out every time. Call me Roman from GTA 4 Good point. I’ve always thought “Walk On Water” was actually pretty good, especially when you look at it as the complete antithesis to “Rap God” from the previous album. He went from calling himself God to saying he can’t even walk on water. At the time it was pretty huge for an artist like Eminem to admit just how much confidence he had lost in himself. Unfortunately I think most of Revival didn’t live up to that level of vulnerability.
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:23 PM Same bro can't beat bowling whilst having a few drinks and then catching a night time movie at the cinema. That used to be my go to date with an ex lol. In Birmingham we got a massive park with cinema, casino etc called Star City. 10/10 place.
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:26 PM Walk on Water, Castle/Arose, the Interlude, Bad Husband, Tragic Endings, even Need Me… In Your Head… Like Home… I find attempted vulnerability everywhere, myself. MMV, obviously
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:26 PM Sounds dope. I definitely need to go there sometime. I’ve wanted to visit UK for a while, I have some longtime friends that live there
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:27 PM Wish I could still bowl, but a car accident wrecked my bowling thumb. I’m dangerous to people behind me now. Used to love it though
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:28 PM Hit me up if u come anytime me and my girl will plan a day of fun s--- to do.
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:31 PM That’s why Stan’s love the duality of Marshall & Slim Shady. Marshall makes you cry, Eminem makes you think, Slim Shady makes you realize we all got a bit of crazy in us. Some more than others, but it’s there deep down. Who can’t relate?
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:31 PM River has a special place in my heart. Video too (dropped on Valentine’s Day). During the tour one of the last shows was in London. Ed Sheeran came out as a surprise for River, remembered that? ‘Twas awesome
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:33 PM Thanks. I was lucky though. At least it still mostly works. Looks fine, just won’t bowl
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:34 PM But kinda a waste of a Beyoncé feature. Wish Bey came back for Kamikaze on a radio or street single. Like Beyoncé could have done Bon Iver’s chorus on Fall
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:34 PM not that i don’t love some of revival, but besides wow all those songs are from 2010-2013, except like home, which might be the cringiest song i’ve ever heard
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:40 PM lol its totally cringe. I love it anyway And those songs are all on Revival, who cares when they started being written. Revival is how they were published, when he got up the gumption to do it. Their inclusion is why I love Revival. You’re making it hard for me to hang onto my Eminanimosity. Stop making me think about 2017
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:40 PM I like Kendrick Lamar’s songs with Beyoncé. If Eminem did songs like that with her it would be much better to me
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:47 PM this is how i listen and like this it’s honestly just as entertaining as kami or either side of mtbmb. i feel like he fell off super hard compared to what he was doing on lp2, xv and southpaw especially considering the amount of old material on revival, and who knows why that happened, but there’s still enough good work here to make an acceptable cd even if it isn’t exactly the album full of transcendent inspirational power ballads i was expecting after survival rap god knd phenomenal etc
Jan 30, 2026 at 7:52 PM I went to China a couple years after Revival for work and was there for a summer. In my closet-size bathroom I had to practically stand in the toilet to shower and all the water ran down the hall to the bedroom. I hated showering, but it was hot as h--- so I was always in that s-----y shower. One day Revival was on in the other room. When Like Home started it made me cry. Jet lag might have helped. I never knew what day it was
