Jan 28, 2026 at 5:36 PM You can survive on up to 100 Vic’s, Valium’s and ambiens. And it did affect me, I had to re learn how to rap
Jan 28, 2026 at 5:37 PM Inverse Stan. I like that. I like the association with Jesus too. Stans are Christians, Inverse Stans are Satanists, both focused on the same hero, one praising him, the other relishing in his pain. You are on to something here.
Jan 28, 2026 at 5:39 PM Years ago I compared Eminem to Goku: both at their best when they get angry and go blonde. That was before MMLP2, in my defense.
Jan 28, 2026 at 5:48 PM I was talking about the underdog narrative specifically. The triumphant story of the "little guy". The topic of Eminem as a "flawed/fallen hero" reminded me of an interesting discussion I heard on Radix recently.
Jan 28, 2026 at 5:51 PM It's absolutely realistic for a regular abuser. Depends on the strength of the dose, but over a12 hour span, 110 pills averages to 9 an hour… not a crazy number at all. And he DID overdose. Plus his kidneys actually were failing, at one point, if you believe what he says… he’s lucky to be alive. But he was pretty young yet when that was going on… young and strong.
Jan 28, 2026 at 5:52 PM Good insight. I was thinking along the same lines, as I've heard Satanists (the devil-worshipping kind as opposed to atheistic offshoots) described as "inverse Christians".
Jan 28, 2026 at 5:52 PM The Section Eighty Nativity: The crucifixion of Marshall Mathers starring: Eminem as “Eminem“ @CSW as “Joseph” Debbie Mathers as “Mary” Zebedee as “Pontius Pilate” @Spatula as “John The Apostle” @Big Monkey as “Judas” @Marsh as “Moses’ r-----ed little brother” @Bigfoot1 as “Donkey number 1” any many more… coming to a screen near you soon!
Jan 28, 2026 at 6:02 PM I know he OD'D imagine taking 100 pills every day for years and his liver didnt fail once, don't buy it. Unless like you say, dosage. Maybe he wasn't taking full strength pills and they were lower dosage pills.
Jan 28, 2026 at 6:14 PM That was only the height of the addiction. Started off with entry drugs in the mid to late 90’s. Increased dramatically around 98’ and 99. Became a major issue around 2003-2004. Peaked during 2005 during the euro anger management tour that they had to even cancel the tour because of it. Newer fans think it started after proof died, but no it was an addiction since the mid 90’s. And got progressively worse as fame and stress of having to be more controversial with every album. It was a breaking point
Jan 28, 2026 at 6:15 PM Wish the Stan’s documentary on paramount went further into things like the addiction and hiatus years. No one cared about them midget Stan’s.
Jan 28, 2026 at 7:37 PM Correct. I think him signing 50 cent also added to his drug use. Before that it was silly rap disses. Signing 50 brought actual street beef to it.
