so whats the speculations look like out here? who is he talkin about on golden goose? its drake, right? talkin about he actually writes his bars and sayin using bots to inflate numbers and then a gambling line right after? (the whole adin ross/drake scandal i seen like 2 posts regarding on fb like a month ago) i see on fb people speculating hes subbin ken also but i havent had a chance to sit and throughly listen yet as i cant really wear headphones at work anymore cuz i gotta answer everyones questions and do all their iobs lol, i listened to goose on my break earlier

I think he saying the industry in general doing it but i guess that includes both of them. There are some subliminals in there at them though i think throughout the freestyles.

He doing a cultural critique. Not just rap culture but there's some disappointment in there that rap culture succumbed to the same shallow, conformist s--- as everything else. He's really been on it his whole career but accelerated this message FHD and beyond.

The biggest tell is that in The Apology, he said releasing the 7MD song was the lamest s--- he's ever done. As in participating in the reality show of culture is the lamest s--- he's ever done. He compared it to the beginning of his career. At the beginning of his career he was playing the game. Trying to look the part. Trying to act the part. He doesn't f--- with this s---.

IMO this is why he'll continue to drop the "best rapper alive", "grim reaper" type bars that trigger so many people. He doesn't see it as he dropped out of a rap battle, he sees it as he dropped out of celebrity culture. Anyone can agree or disagree, of course, but that's his angle.

I didn't catch any kendrick shots. Felt like there was quite a few drake ones though. I'm pretty sure towards the end of 99 build he's referring to joey badass as well.
