Jankland - Kyle: An Ode to Love & Drywall
    Mixtape Mania Round 4…..wow.

I’ve liked all of Jank’s tapes prior to this, but this is the first time in a while where I’ve been heading into a mix with zero experience with any of the songs (And aside from Hot Mulligan and PTV, I’ve had zero experience with mosts of the artists as well). With all that being said, I dove in

The tape has a pretty good start, with “Caustic Prayer”, and “Bulls In The Bronx” being my favorites from the first half. The second half is pretty good too, with “Fallout” and “Dopamine” being especially notable.

I thought the tape was pretty good, but I do have to mention the one "issue" I have. I say "Issue" with quotes because this isn't really anything wrong with the tape itself. It's just that the majority of the tape just isn't really my thing. I can recognize that he songs have lots of energy (and some like "Bulls in the Bronx" and "Fallout" were especially cool for me), but as a whole, this just isn't really in my ballpark. Still, I can recognize that this tape has a very specific mood in mind, and I think that it accomplishes that very well. Big thanks to @jankland for the tape and yeah
FAVORITES: Caustic Prayer, Bulls in the Bronx, Fallout, Dopamine
    Rating; 7/10

I'm running out of lesser known artists that I haven't picked before. Still have a ton of music from niche artists, but I know for a fact it wouldn’t land here.

I also came close to doing a PS2-era Need For Speed era mixtape. I basically had a whole second playlist of Nu Metal / Punk Rock .

Glad you found some stuff to enjoy even from something that's not your wheelhouse! This is one of my more tunnelvisioned mixtapes in terms of going for a certain vibe and type of music so I figured it'd be hit or miss. I need to listen to more Eidola myself but id really recommend the albums that Bulls In The Bronx and Dopamine are on! The PTV album is a classic at this point if you hadn't heard it and the Sum 41 album is their retirement record and it's one of their best imo. Sleep Theory also never miss so if you like Fallout I'm sure you'll enjoy most of their other work
