Jan 17, 2026 at 6:42 PM Jankland - Kyle: An Ode to Love & Drywall Mixtape Mania Round 4…..wow. I’ve liked all of Jank’s tapes prior to this, but this is the first time in a while where I’ve been heading into a mix with zero experience with any of the songs (And aside from Hot Mulligan and PTV, I’ve had zero experience with mosts of the artists as well). With all that being said, I dove in The tape has a pretty good start, with “Caustic Prayer”, and “Bulls In The Bronx” being my favorites from the first half. The second half is pretty good too, with “Fallout” and “Dopamine” being especially notable. I thought the tape was pretty good, but I do have to mention the one "issue" I have. I say "Issue" with quotes because this isn't really anything wrong with the tape itself. It's just that the majority of the tape just isn't really my thing. I can recognize that he songs have lots of energy (and some like "Bulls in the Bronx" and "Fallout" were especially cool for me), but as a whole, this just isn't really in my ballpark. Still, I can recognize that this tape has a very specific mood in mind, and I think that it accomplishes that very well.
