It reminds me of the line from Stimulate:

    Constantly movin', constantly usin'
The Constitution as a form of restitution

But obviously nowhere near as good. Crazy how hard he fell off as a writer.

Foreshadowing of most content on the continent constant compliments give me confidence.

He didnt fell off because of one line in a 2006 song being less good than one line from 2002 song. You can pick a s-----y line from 2000 and compare it to a good line from 2010 and say he s----d before.

    Ok but what about

entertainment is changing, intertwining with gangstas,
In the land of the killers, a sinners mind is sanctum”

    to

    *Arabian Accent*
“Mary-Kate and Ashley used to be so handsome,
Now they’re getting older they’re starting to grow bum bums”

in the space of 2 years?

Never liked that line from sing for the moment. It feels unnatural for eminem to say something that poetic. You can hear the struggle in his delivery there.

Anyways, one is a serious song, another is a goofy one. Not something to compare.

How about "my penis is the size of a peanut, have you seen it? vs "marshall is not an egomaniac, thats not his motto, hes not a desperado, hes desperate"

And what does "in the land of the killers a sinners mind is a sanctum" even mean?

I swear to god Spatula when I wrote that SFTM lyric I was thinking “I bet Spatula responds with something like “what DoEs it Mean/It DoEsNt MAke sEnSe” and I put that on my children’s lives.

I’ve got you sussed out. You’re becoming ever so predictable.

You thought that because you dont know what the line means either so you anticipated a counter argument.

I am becoming predictable, you already are. A song after 2003? Sucks. - JLG

It’s just a typical Spatch-ism at this point. Picking at something that has always been highly regarded just for the sake of it. You did the exact same with the “pig headed” lines in No Apologies.

Plus you’re the one that just called it poetic.

I always just took the line, considering the context it is in and the song being about his flaws, legal troubles and influence on children, as him pointing out that that he’s no killer/gangster and the trouble he has been through, he needed to go through through in order to see the other side.

“in a world where people are literally killing eachother over music and other things, the bad things I’ve done myself (which doesn’t compare to killing) have actually helped me become a better person for it”
